I am delighted to welcome you as the Headteacher of Silver Linings School. Silver Linings is a Therapeutic School, where children are supported to develop their independence through creativity, connection and confidence. 

 

We understand that for some children, school can be a difficult place to be. With this in mind, our approach is specifically designed to allow children to discover what purposeful learning means for them. We enable our children to explore learning through a creative, broad and balanced, yet individualised approach, centred around wellbeing and personal development.

 

From the time a child first arrives, our school staff use the child's own interests to build relationships and connectedness to allow each child to feel safe and ready to begin the learning journey. Our calm, purposeful and therapeutic learning environment helps children to relax and feel confident that school is a safe place for them to break down barriers.

 

I am truly honoured to belong to such an exciting and innovative community that does things differently in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and their families.
