It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Silver Linings Education, a nurturing and forward-thinking community where every child is valued, understood, and supported to reach their full potential. Silver Linings Education is made up of two schools — Silver Linings Bilborough, which provides primary education for children in Key Stages 1 and 2, and Silver Linings Pinxton, which offers secondary education for young people in Key Stages 3 and 4.

We specialise in providing a unique educational journey for children with complex needs due to encountering adverse childhood experiences utilising a Therapeutic approach based on the principles of Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) and PACE.

At Silver Linings, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. Our ethos is rooted in providing a holistic approach that combines high-quality teaching with therapeutic support, helping each pupil to develop emotionally, socially, and academically. We recognise that every child’s journey is unique, and our dedicated team works closely with pupils to build resilience, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. Together, we strive to help our young people discover their strengths, form positive relationships, and gain the skills they need to flourish both now and in the future.
